Getting bored? If yes, then you shouldn’t be…
Is quarantine a blessing in disguise? Just remember when you guys were so much busy in your hectic routines, hustle, and bustle everywhere. But this all has now come to a halt!
We used to beg for free time and all now we have is time and time. It’s in your hands to utilize it positively or negatively? God has given us this time to ponder over ourselves, the environment around us, and more importantly, understand Him. He has given us countless bounties.
Yes, quarantine is actually a blessing in disguise.
We used to complain about the hectic routines and not spending enough time with our families. Moreover, we used to complain that we don’t have enough time to offer prayers. But now we have ample time to do all this.
I believe that everyone has interests and so every human being should try to focus on what he/she likes. For instance, if somebody likes painting go for that. If you like to read novels do spend some quality time reading good ones.
Suggestions for some Good Novels to read during quarantine:
- Anne of green gables by L.M Montgomery
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
- The Fault in our Stars by John Green
- Urdu Novel “Peer-e-Kamil” by Umera Ahmad
Stop being Negative!
Come on guys, stop being pessimistic! Yes, indeed, glimpses of the moments of those great times with our friends do cross our minds but we should not generate a negative wave of loneliness in our environment.
Allah says in Quran: “So, verily, with every Difficulty, there is Relief”.
How come we think negative, when Allah has decided all of these circumstances Himself!
Things to do during quarantine:
Spend your quarantine time with these healthy activities:
- Reading a good book
- Watching movies of the genres you like
- Conversating with your friends
- Spending time with family
- Offering our prayers on time
- Reciting Holy Quran
- Cooking a dish of your choice
- Playing Indoor Games such as Ludo, Monopoly, etc.
Reciting Holy Quran creates a soothing effect and understanding its translation makes you feel so much closer to Allah. Dire need is to understand how we can make it beneficial. These things are easy to say but the reality is are we going to implement it or not even?
I hope that you people will understand and thank Allah for everything.
Allah says: “If you are grateful, I would certainly give you more; and if you are ungrateful, My Punishment is truly severe”.
And He also says: “And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah”.
Maybe we never get this much time in our lives ever again. Instead of overthinking and using social media, we should get engaged in more positive and healthier activities. As an individual, performing our role in society is the best we can do. We can create a beacon of hope in this chaotic environment.
Let’s that everything gets better! Stay Home, Stay Safe!
And most importantly, Stay positive!
