How to Get Started
Working on personal growth can mean a lot of things. Because personal growth and self-improvement are a great part of being successful in your life as a whole as well as in your practice. Don’t take that for granted.
Write your goal
But the place to start is with your goals. So review your written-out goals and ask yourself some tough questions about whether or not you’re achieving them in every area of your life. Then determine what you need to do to get there for yourself.
What about a new hobby?
Beyond your normal favorite interests, is there anything new you might pick up? Is there any new sport you can learn? Your latest hobby may also be a leisure activity. For instance, poetry, gardening, cooking, dancing, web design, etc. Learning something new allows you to stretch yourself in various ways, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally.

Go forward with your skills
Behind every “overnight success” are many, many more nights and weeks and years of early attempts, failure, and getting back up to try harder. So level up your skills by trying harder and harder. Do not afraid of failure.
Defeat your fears
We’ve just got fears. Fear of vulnerability, fear of public speaking, fear of danger… All our fears hold us in the same place and prevent us from rising. So recognize that your fears reflect areas in which you can grow. When I’m afraid of something, it’s something I’ve yet to discuss, and confronting it helps me grow.
break out your comfort zone
True development comes with a lot of hard work and sweat. Being too relaxed doesn’t help us to rise, it makes us stagnate. What’s the comfort zone for you? Do you stay for most of the time? Will you have your own room while you’re out with other people? Shake up your routine. Do something special, man. Through introducing yourself to a new background, you are practically through as you learn to behave in new circumstances.
Ask for feedback and reviews.
However much as we try to improve, we ‘re still going to have blind spots. Asking for reviews gives us more insight. And such people may be friends, relatives, coworkers, managers, so they will have no predetermined bias and can give their input objectively.
Admit your flaws
Everyone’s got flaws. As the most important thing is to consider, identify, and answer them. What the hell do you think are your flaws? What are the flaws that you can work on right now? How would you like to address them?
People who inspire you.
Think of the men you respect. People who are inspiring you. Because these people reflect certain qualities that you want to have for yourself, too. So what are the qualities you want for yourself in them?
Avoid negative people
As Jim Rohn says,
“You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with”.
There are number of negative people we found wherever we go. So don’t spend too much time around them if you feel that they’re dragging you down.
Your friends – Learn from them
Everyone has wonderful qualities in them. It’s up to how we’re going to tap them. They ‘re going to have things you can learn from with all the friends that surround you. So right now, try to think of a good friend. And think of just one quality that you want to adopt. So what are you going to learn from them and implement this ability for yourself? So if you need to, talk to them. Sure, they ‘re gonna help you!
Reduce time on social media
Social media is a kind of beast. And everyone on social media trying to impress others by faking their personality. So sometimes you are scrolling and laughing whereas other times you are like a sad, depressed person. Reducing time for social media helps you to manage time for other activities. And you can be more focused on other things. So try to enjoy a phone-free meal with your loved ones. Give yourself time which you deserve. And enjoy your ME-time without a phone.
Set a goal and give yourself 30 days to do that. It may be to stick to a new habit or something you’ve always wanted to do, but you haven’t. However, 30 days is just enough time to make a strategy, plan, take action, review, and nail the target.
People around you are important be kind towards them
You can never be too kind to anyone else. In fact, most of us are not showing enough kindness to the people around us. Being compassionate helps one develop certain virtues, such as kindness, courage, and devotion. Not only that, but notice how you feel like you’re acting kindly towards others. Chances are, you’re going to feel better than yourself.
